So, you've booked a couples photoshoot

Congratulations on scheduling your first photo shoot as a couple! It's natural to feel a little nervous or unsure about what to expect, but don't worry – with a little prep and some positivity, your photo shoot can definitely be a fun and memorable experience.

Here are a few tips to help you prepare:

  1. Choose the right outfits: The outfits you wear can have a big impact on how your photos turn out. Choose outfits that make you feel comfortable and confident, and that coordinate well with each other. Avoid wearing clothing with bold patterns or logos, as they can be distracting in photos and we've all seen those 'photo fails' where lettering ends up saying something really unfortunate.

  2. Get plenty of rest: A good night's sleep can do wonders for your energy and confidence. Make sure you get plenty of rest the night before your shoot, and consider drinking plenty of water and eating a healthy meal to help you feel your best.

  3. Be yourselves: The most important thing you can do during your photo shoot is to be yourselves! Relax, have fun, and let your personalities shine through. Don't worry about being perfect or posing in a certain way – just be natural and authentic.

  4. Trust your photographer: I am here to guide you and help you look your best. Trust in my expertise and follow my little prompts during your session. Some things might feel a little outside of your comfort zone, but trust that I have your best interests at heart and will want to be helping you create wonderful pictures.

  5. Have fun: Finally, remember that your photo shoot should be a fun and enjoyable experience! Don't be afraid to laugh, joke around, and have a good time with your partner and me. The more relaxed and natural you feel, the better your photos will turn out.

If we keep these things in mind we will be able to create beautiful, authentic photos that capture the love and connection between you and your partner.

Let’s go and have some fun.
